Wahyudi Kumorotomo merupakan Profesor di Departemen Manajemen dan Kebijakan Publik, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik, UGM. Beliau memperoleh gelar sarjana di UGM, gelar master dari Program MPP di National University of Singapore, dan Ph. D dari University Scince of Malaysia. Selain itu, Beliau pernah menjabat sebagai ketua Departemen dari tahun 1999-2001 dan 2011-2013. Saat ini Beliau menjabat sebagai Direktur Magister Administrasi Publik. Area kepakaran Beliau meliputi keuangan publik, perencanaan regional, akuntabilitas sektor publik, e-government, dan isu-isu terkait kebijakan publik di Indonesia.
